Tawni Hunt Ferrarini

Dr. Ferrarini is an internationally recognized economist, educator, and author with extensive leadership in economic education.  She is currently based at Florida State University’s Stavros Center. In the past, she served on the Missouri State Board of Education and currently holds various appointments at the Fraser Institute (Canada), Council on Economic Education (Japan), Mackinac Center, and University of Tennessee–Chattanooga. She was the Associate Director at the Hammond Institute and Professor at Lindenwood University. As the Sam M. Cohodas Professor at Northern Michigan University, she advanced rural economic development. She co-authored Common Sense Economics (2024).
